Abstract:
The commercial Easter lily (Lilium longiforurn Thunberg 1794) is one of the most important flowering potted plants in North America. Easter lilies were ranked 4th in wholesale value ($36.7 million in 1999) among potted flowering crops. An anticipated 8,906,000 pots were grown in the 2000-2001 season.
