Day Length Effects on Bedding Plant Flowering
Abstract:
In the last two articles we reviewed 1) that plants have an early stage (juvenile) when they are not capable of flowering and a later stage (mature) when they are capable of flowering, and 2) how light intensity or irradiance affects the length of the juvenile stage of many bedding plants. In the next two articles we will present research results on how day length affects flowering of different bedding plant species.
