Abstract:
(continued from Bulletin 120) One of the main reasons that auction marketing saves money for the Danish and Dutch growers is that handling labor is cut to an absolute minimum. Once a buyer has pressed his button and the purchase is recorded, his number goes on the trolley of flowers which moves by miniature railroad back to the standing hall.
