Abstract:
One of the major projects at CSU this year is an exhaustive study of greenhouse cooling, both as we do it now and hopefully how it may be done more efficiently. Colorado Growers have been cooling greenhouses since 1955. A few are still cooling with the design formulas developed at that time. Most growers have added extra fans; some have increased pad area; and others have changed to different evaporative pad materials.
