Abstract:

Giving roses C02. Investigations into the value of carbon dioxide enrichment on glasshouse roses have shown that a number of factors, including bloom weight, increase similarly in response to either higher light levels or more C02. With Mercedes, higher C02 levels stimulated the development of lateral shoot buds and basal axillary buds.
